My first career was as a busy corporate lawyer in private practice. After having my first child, like many new mums, I stopped looking after myself and exercising. By the time baby number 2 came around my weight was in triple figures. My health (both mental and physical) was suffering and I had no energy to keep up with my active toddler; even walking around the shops was a struggle! I was in drastic need of a change in nutrition, lifestyle and myframe of mind. I realised I'd been putting up artificial barriers: "No time, too busy, too tired and too expensive" were all excuses for what seemed "too hard". Enough was enough: it was time to take control and invest in myself. I started exercising and eating healthily and being out of breath walking down to the beach to running marathons and most recently completing a half iron man distance triathlon.

Friends and people I knew noticed my new found energy and were inspired to join me; at first running, then early morning bootcamps and finally zany fitness challenges such as Tough Mudder. It was then I realised that I was more passionate about motivating others and a career in personal training than I was in stepping back into the office. I haven't looked back since: these days I have a brand new lease of life.

I train people from all walks of life and have, for the last 5 years, dedicated my career to getting people fit and fabulous. My passion is training pre and post natal women wanting to be fitter and healthier, so they are around longer for their kids !  I am a body positive PT which means I try and encourage you to  love your body, find your niche to fall in love with an active lifestyle and have fun whilst you work out, so you want to do more of it ! If you move your body and nourish it properly well, you will start feeling fantastic and the rest will follow.

Comparison is the thief of all joy : so please STOP scouring instagram pictures of perfect or transformation people (most are photoshopped) and START by putting on your training shoes and moving that beautiful body. Let's get those endorphins flowing. Exercising regularly will make you feel happy, motivated and make you want to  lead a healthier life. 

Let me help you achieve your health and fitness goals and grab life with both hands ! If you want that motivation to get off the couch, get into shape after having had babies,  or a specific goal like starting obstacle racing, running  or simply grabbing back some "me time" and putting some energy and zest in your life : don't delay.

There is no "right" time : just NOW !
