My first career was as a busy corporate lawyer in private practice. After having my first child, like many new mums, I stopped looking after myself and exercising. By the time baby number 2 came around my weight was in triple figures. My health (both mental and physical) was suffering and I had no energy to keep up with my active toddler; even walking around the shops was a struggle! I was in drastic need of a change in nutrition, lifestyle and frame of mind. I realised I'd been putting up artificial barriers: "No time, too busy, too tired and too expensive" were all excuses for what seemed "too hard". Enough was enough: it was time to take control and invest in myself. I started exercising and eating healthily and went from being out of breath walking down to the beach to running marathons and most recently completing a half iron man distance triathlon and trail runs through the blue mountains .

Friends and people I knew noticed my new found energy and were inspired to join me; at first running, then early morning bootcamps and finally zany fitness challenges such as Tough Mudder. It was then I realised that I was more passionate about motivating others and a career in personal training than I was in stepping back into the office. I haven't looked back since: and I have a brand new lease of life and perspective on the world around me.

I train people from all walks of life and have, for the last 8 years I have dedicated myself to helping individuals  feel physically fit and mentally strong. My passion is threefold I love training men and women over 40,   pre and post natal women and  children wanting to be fitter and embrace a  healthier lifestyle ! I am currently back at university studying a post graduate certificate in Human Nutrition so I can be better placed to provide my clients with the latest information on both diet and exercise. I am always striving to learn new skills that will make me a better coach and personal trainer.

I am a body positive PT which means I try and encourage my clients to love their bodies , find their niche and to fall in love with an active lifestyle. I want exercise to be enjoyable so I make sure you have FUN whilst you work out, so you want to do more of it ! I believe that if we you move our bodies, nourish them properly, we start feeling fantastic and the rest follows.

Comparison is the thief of all joy : so please STOP scouring instagram pictures of perfect or transformation people (most are photo-shopped) and START by putting on your training shoes and moving that beautiful body. Let's get those endorphins flowing and moving safely , I have worked with and I am trusted by physios who refer their clients to me because everything I do I tailor individually. Exercising regularly will make you feel happy, motivated and make you want to lead a healthier and more fulfilling life.

Let me help you achieve your health and fitness goals and grab life with both hands.  I'm here to help with that motivation to :

* Get off the couch and back into shape;

* Find your mojo after either having had baby or a gap in exercising;

* To help you  strengthen your mind and body , rehabilitate and strengthen post injury and get back to doing what you love;

* To help you get your meal prep on point and kicking unhealthy nutrition habits;

*To train a specific goal like starting obstacle racing, your first 5km race to half marathon;

* Simply grabbing back some "me time" and putting some energy and zest in your life.

So pick up the phone and have a chat to see if I am right for you  : don't delay- there is no "right" time : just NOW.
